Doctoral Program
Within the framework of the Institutes and Initiatives of the Sorbonne University Alliance (ASU), a campaign is launched every year to award, for the QICS, 2 doctoral contracts financed by the French Excellence Initiative (Idex).
Within the framework of the Institutes and Initiatives of the Sorbonne University Alliance (ASU), the annual campaign to award doctoral contracts funded by the Initiative of Excellence (Idex) is launched in January.
As part of this campaign, the Quantum Information Center of the Sorbonne (QICS) awards two doctoral programs related to quantum information from a physical and computational point of view.
The recruitment campaign for the Institutes and Initiatives (I&I) program is divided into several steps:
— A call for doctoral research projects is launched among researchers and teacher-researchers of the Sorbonne-University Alliance;
— Doctoral research projects validated by the doctoral schools are submitted to a committee of researchers and teacher-researchers chaired by the Institute directors;
— the projects pre-selected by these committee are then published on the Sorbonne University website (doctoral section) and on the doctoral schools and I&I website;
— First, students send their applications to the project leaders. They are then auditioned by a selection panel;
— Finally, the winners receive a doctoral contract after the audition.
